THE CARLYLE RESIDENCE
For this project, I will be working with John and Susan Carlyle to design their forever home, located in Greensboro, NC.
I will be using a Scandinavian style for this interior. This means the space will feature clean lines, minimal design, and bold colors. This type of style is based on the style that became popular in the early 20th century in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.

During this project, I will be adding a new bedroom, garage, laundry room. I will also be adding to the preexisting master bedroom suite as well as the more general areas of the house such as the kitchen, dining, and living room. I will be designing these areas, and the den/study area with the Carlyle's personal style and tastes in mind. This means I will be using the Scandinavian style as well as traditional, family-owned pieces and the Carlyle's impressive original art collection throughout.
I am very excited to be working with the couple on such a large project. Having never designed with the Scandinavian style in mind, I am eager to be creative and create a space the Carlyle's will love forever.
